Bio

Amber earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Aurora University in 2024 and joined the Castellano Group at NC State University the same year. Her research focuses on the hyperpolarization of nitrogen-15 nuclei using parahydrogen-based techniques, including Signal Amplification by Reversible Exchange (SABRE). She is particularly involved in the synthesis and characterization of azides and tetrazines as part of her work.

When she is not in the lab, Amber enjoys spending time with friends and watching cute animal videos.
