Cory Hauke
Bio
I’m originally from New York state, having lived in Binghamton, Syracuse, Albany, and Buffalo before arriving in Raleigh in 2019. Aside from the degrees listed below, I’ve also worked for a pharmaceutical company (Albany Molecular) and a silicone manufacturer (Momentive Performance Materials).
When in the lab, you can usually find me either quoting tv shows or coming up with chemistry puns. The jokes don’t fall far from the chemis”tree”!

Education
PhD Chemistry (Adv. Dr. Timothy Cook) University at Buffalo 2019
BS Chemistry SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry 2008
Area(s) of Expertise
I have particular expertise in synthesis (inorganic and organic), coordination-driven self-assembly, NMR, and visible light spectroscopies. Metals I've worked with: Pt, Ru, Ir, Re, Cu, Cr, Fe, Co.
I'm currently working on new blue-light emitting organic molecules.
